DomaPlasma®
1. Preliminary As before, the cooking vapors are freed from solids, aerosols and very small particles in the metal grease filters.
2. Reaction processes and oxidation After pre-filtering, a plasma-based reaction and oxidation process is initiated. When flowing through a high-voltage discharge source, which, however, is content with a power consumption of only 20 watts, the cooking vapors are enriched with atomic or, more professionally, singlet oxygen. This initiates a decomposition and oxidation process in which the carbon compounds are either stimulated to react or react directly with the oxygen.
3. Storage Reactor Compounds that have not been oxidized until now are in the catalyst retained and caused to oxidize there. In this process, the catalyst acts as a storage reactor, which e.g. ozone back into atmospheric oxygen. A special feature of this technology is the extremely long service life of the activated carbon, as it regenerates itself during the process. The catalytic converter does not need to be changed or is only to be expected in exceptional cases. The first inspection and, if necessary, the revision of the catalytic converter will follow 5 years recommended.

White House AG has specialized in the development and manufacture of highly effective air purification systems for more than 20 years. With the DomaPlasma®-IQ, which was designed for the recirculation of extractor hoods in private households, a top product in air cleaning based on plasma technology is available. The different DomaPlasma® IQ models can be combined with circulating air extractor hoods from different manufacturers.

The difference lies in the energy source: Instead of sunlight in nature, high voltage is used as the energy source in the DomaPlasma®. Through the use of high-voltage energy, a so-called ‘cold plasma’ is generated in the DomaPlasma®, in which oxygen and water molecules are placed in an unstable position and individual oxygen (O2) and hydroxyl radicals (OH
• ) are released. In the DomaPlasma®-IQ, these hydroxyl radicals react with the organic substances (odor molecules and other microorganisms such as bacteria, mold spores, allergens or viruses) that get into the DomaPlasma® system with the extracted kitchen air.

reacted. The DomaPlasma® system leaves behind oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapor as ‘residues’ – the odors are eliminated and the air is also cleaned of bacteria, mold spores, allergens or viruses.
The DomaPlasma®-IQ works in a power-saving manner and manages to generate the high voltage of approx. 2.5 to 2.8 kilovolts with a very low total energy consumption of less than 10 watts per hour and unit. The DomaPlasma® odor filters can be used universally thanks to the use of an internal pressure sensor and their own power connection and are independent of the electronic controls of an extractor hood.
HOW WORKS
Phase 1 The UL-certified, flame-retardant Turbulair® grease filter removes – in combination with a Hydrosorp® fine filter – solid particles, grease and grease particles, oils and other pollutants from the cooking vapors and even from the room air that is carried along;
Phase 2 In the reactor space within the DomaPlasma® catalyst, even the microorganisms contained in the room air, such as bacteria, mold spores, allergens and viruses, are destroyed by various complex reaction and oxidation processes and partially broken down into individual molecules ;
Phase 3 The second stage of the oxidation process in the catalyst removes the last remaining odor molecules in the reactor space;
Phase 4 The result is air that has been cleaned of fats, oils and odours. Even microorganisms such as bacteria, mold spores, allergens and viruses are destroyed. The DomaPlasma® air purification system is therefore approved for the purification of breathing air and was accordingly found by the VDE to be free of pollutant emissions.
CERTIFICATION
The DomaPlasma® odor filter has been extensively and intensively tested by one of the most important European test institutes, the VDE, according to strict DIN standards in special test chambers. The official result is: The DomaPlasma® odor filter meets all relevant safety standards, is completely emission-free and is therefore the only plasma filter that has been tested as absolutely safe and free of harmful substances.
The DomaPlasma odor filter is one of the first harmful substance-free odor filter for extractor hoods of plasma technology, without emission!
